| Weddings on the Screen A designer always welcomes a wedding scene as it is an opportunity to indulge in fantasy. Cosprop offers an exhibition showing some of cinema’s most memorable wedding costumes: Meryl Streep in Out of Africa, Gwyneth Paltrow in Emma and Julie Christie in Hamlet. The exhibition also demonstrates the changes in fashion from the 18th Century through to the 1960’s. Ever a popular theme, in 2004 our wedding costumes will be shown at Wilberforce House in Hull from the end of March to the end of May, North Somerset Museum from the beginning of May through to June and the Wolverhampton Art Gallery in July and August. |
